The R&D Department was established in 2002, covering an area of 1000 square meters. The main instruments include GC-MS, HPLC, potentiometric titrator, electrophoresis apparatus, densitometer, etc. The research and development personnel's professional directions cover food, chemistry, pharmacy and molecular biology, more than 80% of which have master's degree.

Guided by the principle of meeting customers’ needs, the R&D department focuses on the main business directions of nutrient raw materials, food additives, etc. to carry out technological innovation and product development, and provides technical support for the business units. It has obtained a number of patents and proprietary technologies in the fields of extraction, separation and identification of natural products.
